"Typical rent" is the median monthly rent of real long-term listings we have collected for each neighbourhood — listings published on SafeRentRome and listings we reviewed while contacting landlords. We only show a figure when we have at least 3 listings for that area. Prices vary with size, floor, condition and furnishing, so use it as a guide, not as an exact valuation.
Rule of thumb: a price more than 40% below the typical rent is a strong warning sign. Send us the listing and we will check it for free.
